The Premonition is a hard rock band that formed in early 2001. The band has caught momentum and in the short time since the band's inception, The Premonition has all ready opened for national acts such as:
Steel Reign
Pound Hound
Perseverance
Another Day

The band is composed of 4 different personalities. Each member expresses his own unique sense of style and musical influence.
As a band, The Premonition admits many important influences in their distinct musical approach: They name bands such as:
Iron Maiden
Motley Crue
Black Sabbath
Type O Negative
Queensryche
Guns'N'Roses

Highly animated vocalist, Eddie, fronts the extraordinary band
Having grown up listening to larger than life bands like Poison, Alice Cooper, and the infamous Iggy Pop caused Eddie to develop a taste for performance and stage theatrics. His taste in music is broad, with vocals ranging styles from the likes Journey, The Doors and Sebastian Bach. Eddie was also a long time student of music professional Thomas Ciotti Thorrell. Eddie served over a year as a rock DJ at the popular WCWP 88.1 FM radio station at C.W. Post Long Island University. Eddie also plays guitar, piano, drums, and bass. He has learned computer and engineering technical skills related to music recording. He was also in the drama and theatre clubs in school including choir.

The Premonition's heavy guitar work is done by lead guitarist Pete. Pete gets his style by mixing the wild guitar energy of Zakk Wylde with the hard edge of James Hetfield and the dark emotion of Black Sabbath. Pete thrives on live performances and heavy riffs which makes him a perfect match in the puzzle that makes up The Premoniton.

Drummer Rich provides the rhythmic pounding and backbone to the music.
Speaks softly but carries 2 big sticks. Rich has been playing drums for 15 years. He cites Clive Burr of Iron Maiden and Scott Rockenfield of Queensryche as being some of his greatest inspirations. He states that his pride is in playing real drums in a real rock band.

Jose produces the groove and thundering bass lines.
If the music's rhythm and groove is heavy and full of attitude, then the bass player should be strong enough to carry it. That's what been said about bass player Jose. His imposing stature is as menacing as his bass lines. Peter Steele of Type O Negative/Carnivore, Duff McKagen of Guns'N'Roses, and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath are some of the bass players that have influenced Jose's string pounding and loud sounding grooves.
Jose studied many years under professional musician Thomas Ciotti Thorrell.
Jose also plays piano, and guitar, and was the bassist of Long Island's own Outspoken, a popular band before its disbandment in the mid 90's.
